Once the paperwork has been uploaded and approved, the person registering the death (the informant) will receive an email containing a link to book their appointment online. As contact is not always possible via email, please provide at least one telephone number to enable the Register Office to make the appointment directly.

A qualified informant is usually a relative by blood or marriage. If no relatives are available, someone who was present at the death or the person in charge of making the funeral arrangements can register.
